How to start writing and which direction to go?
I don't have FB, Twitter, or any of the social networking stuff. I enjoy reading and writing, as long as it's not self-serving or sappy self-absorbed rambling. I like writing that serves a purpose and has ideas and elaborates on them or even exploratory writing. I have this urge to "write a book", but I don't know how to test the waters by gettings started blogging or where to start! Help!

It is actually better to base your blog around your own liking and interest so that the blog is centered around a very specific subject. Writing about what people are looking for is a must if you want to get a decent number of visitors to your blog.
